YouTube Featured Videos Get the Back Burner
The featured videos have been pushed to the bottom of the page so that now when users want to discover new content that’s featured they have to scroll to the bottom of the page.
The most popular videos of the day are pushed to the lowest part of the home page so they are only noticable if you scroll all the way down. This makes users have to work a bit harder to get to the content they want.
On one hand it’s a good way to get more clicks and on the other hand Yahoo! video starts to look like a cooler place to hang out.
(random fact: I have never uploaded a single video to Yahoo! video even though they are the second most popular video site from Google’s YouTube)
