July 14th, 2008 Julia Allison, Mary Rambin and Meghan Asha's New Web Show

NonSociety is a place where women can pull in their lifecasts. The word lifecast originated from Justin.tv when Justin Kan coined the term in 2007, but now there is a whole new spin on it’s meaning. Today it means sharing the intimate details of your life online.

NonSociety is a smart move for publicity whore Julia Allison, style snob Mary Rambin and geek girl Meghan Asha. The three NYC based women are combining traffic from all their sites by pulling in their tumblr blogs to one place. Now you don’t have to type in their different domains to track them! Whoa!

The website design is like Plurk where you can scroll horizontally. Conceptually it’s a lot like Becky Young’s Girls Entertainment Network, but instead of being about geeky girls it’s open to all women with a passion for something. It isn’t clear how the site plans to make money. So far rumor has it they are VC funded.  One can imagine an ad-supported monetization will come next.
